My Weekend

I went to Universal Studios...

I got there with my host sisters Maki and Misa. I met Betty Boop almost as soon as I walked in the place, and had my photo taken with her. She rocks! The rides were fantastic, none of them go upside down, but I'm not complaining, they were fantastic as they were.

We went on Jurassic park first, and this was pretty lame as special effects go, but this didn't stop me squealing at getting sprayed with water, or absolutely screaming my head off at the 50 foot drop after the T-rex!

Then we went on the Backdraft simulation, which was real fire, and absolutely amazing. It was sooo hot in there, and you could smell the petrol and feel the fire. I even screamed when the roof fell in. I love things that mess with your sense of security.

The Jaws ride was entertaining, I screamed with the Nihonjin to give them a sense of the Gaijin being scared. Didn't want them to be wusses on their own now did I? The guy "driving" the boat was a terrible actor, but maybe that was because I didn't know what he was saying? o.O;;

Then we went on the Back To The Future ride, which was poor, and our dry ice machine wasn't working either dammit >_< I got a sore kneck too.

Lunch was nice but expensive. We ate at the Chinese onsite, and I managed to eat everything with the chopsticks, even though my japanese sisters didn't!! (^_^)

Then we watched the Parade, containing ELMO and several others. Elmo really stuck in my mind though, cause he reminds me of Vicky :)

E.T. ride after this, in which ET said my name, and we rode about on bicycles. Was kinda amusing, and very chilish! (^_^)

Then we went into the scary new walk-through thing. OHMIGOD it was soo scary. people dressed as mummies would jump out from between statues at you, I screamed sooo much! [Not as much as Maki and Misa, but still]

There was a monsters show along the same lines as that too. God I screamed. We all had sore throats

We went on the Jurassic Park ride again to pose for the end photo, watched a sidplay on the water, fireworks, then ate at Bubba gump restaurant. Fecking expensive's all I'll say

All in all, I spent about $120, which is a lot. Oh well, it'll all go either on fun or beer.

I never was too keen on hangovers...
