( there's an update of what I've been up to under here, no-one cares about these sort of things any more do they? So it's under a cut )

So here's the stuff people may like to talk about - I want an MP3 player for Christmas. My parents are getting it for me, so I need to decide exactly what I want so there's no question and my parents get me the right thing.

I've never had anything other than my phone as an MP3 player before - it plays stuff, but only has 2GB memory including the space it needs for the phone, so I've only put a few songs on it and I get bored and flick past most of them before settling on one.

Not to mention that the connection has been going on it for a while.

I want something that will play either random songs or an album, so it needs to have a screen. I want something that's not too small so I can lose it in my handbag. I don't know if I want it to play videos, as I've never had one that can before so I don't think I'll miss this. Also I've run out of things to watch that Milf doesn't watch with me too, so I think that I don't want to watch .avi or .mp4.

What do you suggest? What have you got?
