Gaijin! Gaijin!

There are millions of Japanese schoolgirls running around the Uni! asking us all questions (via teachers) and taking photos of us gaijin! There are too many of us now with livejournals! Some of them I'd rather not have on my friends list (self-centred asshole, that gives americans bad names) and I hope that he doesn't see it!

Last night okasan again cooked enough food to feed the five thousand, and expected me to eat it all! When I finished my plate she piledit high again *sighs* I don't think I'm going to loose any weight over here! Shame really, guys don't like fat girls! Otosan didn't get home 'till very late, and she cooked something different for them. I cooked the stir-fried vegetables myself! look at me go! I can accomplish something!

Got to school really early this morning, AGAIN! so I should probably take a later bus :) The class i'm in for talking is way too easy. I have asked to be moved up! I need to be in group 3 otherwise I think i'm going to go insane! Shame really 'cause as I found out in my kanji class today there's some loverly people in my class who are as pathetic as me! *stops giggling at another post* Right, I need a wee before class now! bye!

i'm not sure if this is true or not, but someone told me that apparently (according to their customs) if you eat everything on your plate it means you want more. if you're done you should leave a little bit..

odd O_o

maybe asking your teacher about this would be a better idea

+shrugs+

I think generally it's accepted hospitality to give a guest more than required. The chinese have a custom of pouring tea for their elders/superiors/guests where they'll literally fill the cup to overflowing & keep it topped up every time you take a sip. Maybe this thing with the food is the same?

I explained last night that I didn't want any more. They seemed to understand

breakthrough! (^_^)
