I am going to kill someone.

I am now 'on hold' to the 6th Canon number so far in 10 minutes. Everyone puts me through to a different number, who tells me that they aren't the right one either.

The University is running me round in circles trying to use two pieces of software; The Raiser's Edge and SAP. Not only will they not let me use either, they won't tell me how to fill in forms and who to ask to get me to actually use either of them.

Everything is red tape and paperwork, when I can see what I need.

I can't practise using A until I have a password
I can't get a password until I've completed the training
I can't complete the training until I get to practise, for which I need a password.

And fuck anything to do with ODBC configuration, seriously.

I need a beer.

Welcome to the horrible world of bureaucracy. I seem to remember educational establishments were one of the worst for it.

it would appear so. I'd rather work for the government, the mirror have proved that it's easy to get clearance for things!
