I was teaching English, in my weekly class last night. I was tricked into this from the beginning, with Okaasan being all "Do you want a part time job?" and of course I'm not gonna say no, but I was like "It's Dame?" she told me it was ok because she said so, and so I said yes. This part time job involved me working an hour each week for free! I didn't really mind, as the kids are cool, but I was pissed off at having been tricked into it.

Last week, the lady asked me if I could go to her house to stay over. I said yes, and she said "ok, how about December 25th?".
Of course I said no, but it was rearranged for December 26th, and all was cool. I was slightly narked about not being able to spend it mourning in self-pity, but hey, it was some more experiences. I'm not going to let one psycho taint my view of the Japanese.

They came to class last night, and after I'd taught the kids, the mother said to me "I'm sorry that you can't come to our house" so I was like, oh, they changed their minds. Then a conversation went between my sister and the mother
Sis: "Why not"
Her: "It's Dame"
Sis: "Who said so?"
Her: "Your Mother"

What on earth?

Not only is she intending on ruining my stay with her and her family, but she's also intent on making sure I don't have any fun elsewhere. Stupid bloody psychopath.

Oh well. Guess seeing as I have nothing better to do I'll go cower in my bedroom. Tomorrow should be fun...
