After I got promoted 2 weeks ago [and no-one commented :( ] I've been training so that I can open and close the shop all by myself.
Today was my first day. I arrived 45 minutes early [I meant to be early so that I could have time to open the safe if I started panicking, and to do the paperwork] and then did all the paperwork, safe opening and setting up well in time. I had a nice relaxing cup of tea and then we opened at 11.
We only had one pikey in, a well known girlie, who did her usual trick and I sent her out. After she'd gone and touched one of the bags again I've tied it to the shelf. Now if she tries to leave with it she'll get her arm yanked out of its socket. Twat.
Cashing up went ace - I was spot on with the counting, we're usually a couple of pence here and there, but I was absolutely bang on :D
