More films!
Feb. 8th, 2007 04:56 pmI didn't update my livejournal the last 2 days. Bad Mof.
I watched The Pursuit of Happyness on Monday. It was an ok film if you want to watch Will Smith but otherwise it was a bit poor. ( spoilers? )
Last night I didn't watch anything as I went to the gym for a class, then went to watch the England match. The git of a trainer at the gym was a condescending arse and I won't be going to one of his classes again. He spoke in such a nasty tone and every time changed places in the circuit he said "You can do the [easier version]" when I am fully aware of what I am capable of, and wanted to try the backwards push up things instead of resting my arse in-between them. It's actually harder for me to rest my arse, because it sticks out so much it's a large movement for me to get it back on. Git. I left feeling annoyed and frustrated and although I hurt today and I know it was good for me, I won't be going back to him, I'll stick to Jenny's classes.
Today so far I have watched Good Will Hunting. It was alright I guess, but that's one more off the IMDB list.
One day I got fed up with people saying to me "You haven't seen X film? You uncultured cretin! Get out of my sight!" or words to that effect, so I write down the names of all the films in the IMDB top 250 and decided that I should watch them all. I watched the LOTR Trilogy, Extended edition all in one go, taking 11.5 hours and going from 4pm 'till 3.30am. I've watched The Godfather trilogy, despite the fact that I thought I hated mobster films and I enjoyed it. I've watched some of the films and thoroughly not enjoyed them but at least I've tried.
Also, we have too many DVDs in my house, and I've decided that I should watch them all for much the same reasons. I've been watching them alphabetically because I always skip things and watch "Romy & Michelle's..." again 'cause it's ace. I also don't like people watching DVDs before me if they're mine, so all the ones I got for Christmas [which was LOADS] have been de-cellophaned and watched and put in alphabetical order in the shelves. I am going to be all filmed out soon, but I'll be knowledgeable about something maybe? Gonna watch Citade De Deus tomorrow, it looks alright...
