Japan. - I have no idea how or when my obsession with Japan started, and whether it has ended or not. It was pretty mild until I had to decide what to do at University. Being the strange type, I picked Engineering and went to an open day. The open day was horrible and all the Engineering types were awful, so I spoke to the guy from Oxford Brookes University. He suggested that I took Japanese as my degree instead of as a night class. I talked to my careers advisor, Bob and he said it wasn't a bad idea. Here I am with a year of living in Japan, international best friends and a useless, if interesting degree.
It's a shame I don't want to live there again as they are so intolerant, rascist and bureaucratic.
Your favourite film ever. - I can't decide whether it's Empire Records, which I first watched with Milf around 4 years ago and have re-watched more times than is necessary, or Harvey, which I only watched in the last 6 months. I am so obsessed with Harvey that I want Milf to hire a large rabbit suit and follow me around on my birthday in it, so I can pretend he's a pookah.
Most embarrassing thing you have ever done while drunk. - Early this month I went home for a visit and I threw up in my friend's mother's spare room. Other bad things are playing the "Catch me! Catch me!" game with Milf, and falling over and scraping up my knees and palms with gravel.
Leopard print. - it's only Pink Leopard Print I have the addiction to. It started with a bag and now I have over 350 different items that are pink leopard print. Hey, at least it's not crack! I also like to think it's slightly classier than the usual beigey-brown version.
Worst childhood holiday. - I can't think of any especially bad ones, I remember the endless tours of distilleries and beer making places, and asking to go to Flamingo World and being told no, but they did finally get it right when I got to around 15/16 when we went to a Haven holiday camp instead, where they have arranged activities for the teenagers and mum and dad could have their entire days sitting reading while we actually had something to do.
Most treasured childhood memory. - I vaguely remember sitting on the sofa at the house in warrington [or it was a chair, either way it had its back to the front windown] and begging my mum and dad to let me hold my brother when he came home from the hospital. Nothing much from my childhood stands out, because I hated school and all the childminders I had, but if I remember this right then it's pretty cool. I was only 2 :3
If anyone wants 5 things to write about, just let me know.
