Wot I as dun.
Jun. 18th, 2009 04:34 pmI have been really busy recently, and it shows no sign of stopping!
Saturday afternoon I put extensions in someone's hair other than my own. They are really pretty roving dreads, I'm hoping I can get a reputation as able to do this enough that I can get a few pennies here and there doing it for the customers of![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
miss_needles who are in Leeds.
After finishing work on Saturday at around 5am I went straight to the bus station and got on a bus to London. I 'slept' on the way down and found myself in Victoria! Once there I recognised a Subway I'd been to many many years ago on a previous trip to London, but had no memories of what else we did. Weird!
As I had failed to buy what I went to London for, I went to the park that we were all meeting at forpoggs's birthday and had a nap in the sun. I got sunburn on my arm during the second hour. Whoops!
We all sat around and had a really nice picnic, I met loads of new people as well as saw a couple of old faces. It was really really nice aside from the fucking pollen.
Monday morning I woke up on Poggs's sofa to find a cup of Red Hot Lava Java beside me. Silly Poggsie, he didn't really know what coffee would do to me.
Neither did I to be honest.
I ended up wired as fuck walking around in circles in London around Tottenham Court Road, getting upset at bookshops and deciding that I didn't want ANYTHING but Sushi for like 3 hours. Then I sat down and waited for Yo Victoria to open, only foricklekitty to let me know that Wasabi next to the toilet was better and cheaper and already open. Win.
I ate some sushi in the bus station, got back to Leeds and then went to work for a meeting. Then I went back home and saw mymilfos before finally getting some sleep.
Tuesday day shift was ok, then I went home to get some tea, before heading out to the cinema.
Last night I worked until around 3, then had to be back in at 11 to have the machines emptied. That is 3 hours before my shift usually starts so I am sitting her SO TIRED right now. Really tired. Can sleep tonight!
Tomorrow I'm on the nightshift, Saturday day shift before heading off on a train to Lichfield where I will see my little brother and then head out to a school friend's daughter's Christening. I have bought a DRESS and related accessories like SANDALS and new EARRINGS and I will be road testing it Sunday ready for the wedding I'm off to in July. It is PINK as fuck and really SHORT.
Sorry for the overuse of caps, I'm just a bit excited. I am tired as hell.
Monday I get back to Leeds and then work a night shift straight after. Then I'm off Tuesday and will take this opportunity to sleep as much as possible next to my betrothed.
If I've already bought most of an outfit, am I allowed to get a new handbag? Do I really need one?
