More Birthday Plans?

So, following discussions with my housemate Cat and Charlotte, it's been mildly decided that a picnic in Leeds on Saturday the 21st would be the best idea.
If I do something on the Friday night, then I'd have to not be working. I'd also have to not work the Saturday daytime to ensure I got over the hangover and I don't know if I'd manage the Saturday night either, thereby missing 2 potential days at work which is possible but yet a bit selfish I think.
Saturday night would mean that people were at Wendyhouse, so no-go.
Then I thought about a big Goth picnic [weather permitting]. Then I'm left with two options:
1. picnic at the Dry Dock. Easily accessible from town so any area of Leeds, carpark next door so easy for people to drive up. Beer on tap and also within walking distance of Wendyhouse and foodstuffs. Also nearby to lots of places to hide should it rain, Like FAB.
2. picnic at Hyde Park Easy to park at, can bring our own beer, lots of room for Goths to sit on gingham blankets. Unfortunately it's not central to town.
So, beer on tap but more expensive or beer you can bring but out of town? Any suggestions?
