Films [yes, more!]

Since I last updated, I've watched these films from the film list:
Psycho
Strangely, I'd never had this spoiled for me. This film was OK, I liked the fact that the person you thought was the main character died halfway through. I think I'll check out the remake at some point though, purely because it'll be prettier...
Sunset Boulevard
This one was strange. I also have a huge dislike for this type of male character. Even though he's a different person, he invoked the same type of hate that I have for James Stewart's parts. Stupid entitled men.
American Beauty
I really really really enjoyed this. I love mid '90s films, the colours and the style and the music are all great. Again, I can't believe I'd never seen this but when I did I loved it. I wish there were more things like this I'd not seen :(
Taxi Driver
I tried to watch this once before and found it a bit strange at the beginning and I turned it off. The end was very confusing and I couldn't believe that he'd got away with it. Over rated I think.
The Shining
I'd seen the ending on TV before, so I knew what was going to happen but I found the middle bits with the lady in the bath and 'redrum' quite scary for an old film.
Pan's Labyrinth
I really enjoyed this, although I didn't like the ending. I also had to watch it on a tv on the back of a headrest on the plane, so I think it would benefit from a bigger screen next time. Will buy on DVD.
Cool Hand Luke
LOVED this. I absolutely adored it and will get this if I see it on DVD anywhere. Wish I'd seen it sooner.
The Big Lebowski
Mediocre film, great soundtrack. It was a bit too far-fetched for me but I will watch it again. Proper stoners film though!
King Kong [1933]
Proper old classic with amazing graphics for the time. Swooning blondes, love it.
Next I tackle A Clockwork Orange, Paths of Glory, Chinatown, To Kill a Mockingbird, The Third Man, Downfall, The Pianist, The Treasure of the Sierra Madre and M.
