My weekend

Before I finally explode with exhaustion
Friday night I was feeling particularily down, and then plans for something fell through, so I returned to my homestay feeling particularily shit. After eating something must've dropped with the family, as they then took me out to Karaoke! I did a few songs, mostly shit ones, and I can't sing. Nevermind, it was a fun night out indeed!
Saturday, my host mum took me to meet her friends. It was unnerving to say the least that a 5 year old brazillian kid can say more japanese than I can (-_-;;) Then I got a text from tricia, and I headed into Hirakata. Then I met Jaxin and Andrew, we picked up trisha and went to a nice sushi bar. There we drank beer and warm sake and ate lotsa cold fish! Jaxin and Andrew went off for a night on the tiles, and me and Tricia went off to an arcade. After winning two flame hello kitty lighters, I realised I'd missed my last bus home [8:30 ffs!!] walked most of it and got back.
Sunday was again spent in hirakata with Tricia, buying three new Engrish tee shirts, which will be photographed once I get a spare minute to myself. Once I got back I was taken by Maki to karaoke with her friends. they are all loverly, and we had a fantastic time! I sung a lot of greenday and radiohead. Even my moulin rouge rendition went down well! (^_^)
Monday was again a holiday, so I went to Nara to see the Todaiji. That's where all the pictures of the damn huge buiddhas are. I can't begin to explain how big this thing is. I only hope the photos do it justice. I was attempted to be set up by okaasan with takashi. a loverly japanese boy who bought me a hello kitty flannel. But.. umm... nope. I choose who I'm with, I do not make do with someone that's thrust upon me! He is loverly however and I am going round his at some point to see his cats again!
Tuesday night has been explained already. Damn that was a really condensed version. Maybe one day i'll get to explain the Todaiji and the Ojisoosans. Until then, byebye!
