...In fact, his hand is this icon. He made it for me. Every time I see it it reminds me of him. I haven't got to talk to him all that much recently, and when I do, he seems to be very down. I don't know how I can cheer him up from over here, but I do know that if I was in England, I'd be straight over to his house.

I don't even know if he knows how much he means to me, but he does. IT sucks that I'm this far away from a friend and am worrying this much. You should know who you are. I miss you.

Saturday I went out with Amy, Harry, Jay, Pete and Cameron. We met in good time (well, most of us. Damn buses were shit for me) and got on a train to Osaka. People on the train were scared of us, which was the most hillarious thing, because I really wanted a sign that said "I'm harmless". In fact, every time an old lady tutted at me, we got a point. I got a "Kawaii" which means cute. (Maybe it was "Kowai" = scary)

hehe, what's the difference between Kowai and Kawaii?

So anyways, we got there, and were going to be let in until they saw how many of us there was. But, we were harmless enough looking (Hell, about the scariest thing about us is the lack of makeup skills) and got in. I went straight to the bar with my free drink ticket, got myself a black russian and danced. Glowsticks ahoy! Good music it was! Kinda more like the Mutate room in Wendyhouse. I didn't know any of the music, but it rocked.

The club itself was smallish, with the walls decorated in corrugated aluminium boards. There is something about this scene that I don't like, however. It's the bad makeup. I mean, looking like a blind person has drawn you on some zombie paint is ok, if you really want people to laugh. And they have a rather unnatural obsession with blood and vampires here. Please, leave that to Lrp. *keeps as far away from that shit as possible* Vampires are not real, not cool, and not funny :)

They played songs I asked for (I stuck to Covenant and VNV to play it safe) as well as playing Ultraviolence and Funker Vogt. I met a couple of people from England, as well as a couple from Scotland. Millie and Rob from England were great, we laughed at the people dancing (they're worse over here than they are in England) and bitched about the price and potency of beer, and lack of snakebite and black.

Some dodgy dance performers came on, and we ignored them, and I finally fell asleep there at about 5:00am. (in my corset, ouch). Was woken up at 6:30 am to return home, and all in all, had a great night. Made friends with a guy called Iori too, whom I've been texting since I got back. He's really nice and we should be going out for drinks again soon.

I'm going again, on Wednesday the 6th. Can't wait, as quite a few of the girls there were egging me on to go. Meh, now what do I wear?! (^_^) Should be interesting as I have Uni the day after, and I retrned back to Hirakata at about 7:15 last time. I'm going to be walking dead (how goth)
