I don't suppose any of you will, but if anyone has any information relating to Unit 731 during the Japanese/Chinese section of World War 2, then around now would be the right time to send me it :)
heh, yeap. I've already tried that, and got some decent results, but most wouldn't be allowed due to the fact that most of the stuff you find on the internet is crap :/
this brought up a few books that might be useful and if you can't afford them do what the rest of us do and go to borders and read 'em and get the info yo want from them that way (ok this suggestion could possible get you banned from Borders)
Wikipedia has a page on it, no complaints of POV on the discussion page and Wikipedia has a policy of NPOV (neutral point of view). Lots of links and the discussion page mentions that the US declassified a lot of papers on Unit 731 last year, but I can't find any record of transcripts of these on Google. HTH.
I've been looking for Men Behind The Sun, but unfortunately it's not in my university library, and I don't think I'll be able to get it before next Friday :(
thank you so much though
I'll send you the essay once I'm done, but I can't promise there'll be anything that you don't already know!
are you after the war crimes or bioweapons angle? one of the best books i've read on chem/biowar was "A Higher Form of Killing" by Jeremy Paxman and Robert Harris.
Try getting in touch with the History Channel or BBC - they are pretty helpful when it comes to things like that and may even send you anything they have - I found BBC were very co-operative with recordings for my Dissertation on 'war' photographers last year.
