'Disappointed' is right if you got SC3K and not SC4. SC3K is just SC2K with bigger maps, better graphics and no arcologies, but SC4 will own your life if your computer is fast enough to play it.
Werent they those big buggers that held like a million people in about a 9x9 square? I used to have SC2k on floppies (ha!) and gave up on it once i could afford to build the arcos.
Sorry I didn't email. This visit was manic and didn't give me a chance to see half the people I wanted to. The parents wanted to get more involved with me on account of the ladyfriend being there, so it meant I had to go out with them on an evening loads :(
