Film night madness

Oh well. Last night could've been better.

I met milfos at his house, and we started to rescue the VHS recorder out of the tv unit, when I realised that we didn't have the remote control. Therefore the counter with the time would be continually displayed at the bottom of the screen. This is not good for watching horror films, therefore The Eye was out of the question.

Then I tried to play Seance. The subtitles were not working, and as I don't have internet, I coudln't look at the site I usually do to get help for my DVD player.

Only 5 out of the expected 10 turned up.

There was only me and Catherine there at 7, so we didn't start on time.

And horror upon horror, the wine that Anna and Leeny brought tasted like vinegar, so we couldn't even get drunk properly.

Oh well, we watched Tank Girl [which I hadn't seen before], and ate Chinese. Hopefully I will have a TV out card in my PC by next week [2 people have mentioned they have one, but if anyone has one to spare, I'd be grateful] and can use that to make sure subtitles work.

Tonight I tidy my room some more and take photos of things to sell on niceboots. Should be a laugh, right? :/

Sorry again for not making it... just felt completely zombied... which granted would have been quite apt... could have just sat watching me moaning and groaning... :( think last night was the first early night I've had to have in a long time... hopefully the last for a while...
