I have a gorgeous new 400GB HDD. I [thought] I had hooked it up and the computer sees it in the system, hardware tab, but it isn't on my explorer.

Is anyone that's any good with hardware going to be available in the next few hours? I really wanna get this hooked up so that I can 1. move all my music and 2. fill it with FILEZ.

Thanks in advance!!

Technically, you have to thank the mighty [livejournal.com profile] bridd (aka LilGreenDave). :)

It's really frustrating that it's not really mentioned on the box or anything...

You beat me to it. I think Micro$oft expects you to go to PC world and pay about 3 billion pounds for a few button clicks.

Meh. I think it's more that Windows Help tends to be fairly obtuse, and therefore you need to pretty much know the answer to ask the question that'll bring up the information on installing a new drive.
