I had my first piercing in 2 years on Wednesday. I've had a conch piercing, currently with a barbell, but once finished it will have a ring in and look like this. I've never had a cartilage piercing before, I was extremely nervous, but it wasn't half as bad as I expected. It's ok to sleep on even, so I'm now thinking about getting more, like in between my rook and helix. My piercer, Luke, also says that I have an 'interesting' ear, and I can have surface piercings instead of going through cartilage at my helix because my cartilage is fused. Awesome! Freak ears!

mamfa's funeral yesterday was a very emotional time for everyone. I was so proud of eblue for being able to speak, I don't know how many of us could.

I enjoyed The Dark Knight much much more than Batman Begins, but I wasn't as enamoured with it as most people seem to be. I can't wait to see The Mummy 3 though, my movie taste is terrible ;)

I have Sat night / Sunday off. I can't wait to catch up on proper sleep!!

The first image link is coming back with a stolen image-image. I'm guessing they don't like offsite linking, but your browser cached a good copy. Copy/pasting the link into a new browser tab works though (as that doesn't pass the referer).

Are you out at all at any point over the weekend or is it going to be a quiet one all round ? Would be nice to say hi/give hugs if you're out at any point.

I had my tragus pierced years ago, but they did it with a barbell and the bloody ball kept falling off (I did have a habit of twiddling it, admittedly). After spending too much money on new balls (!) I gave up and took it out. There's no way I could have got a bcr in because you can't see what you're doing with ears :-(

Might have it re-pierced soon or maybe get a daith piercing instead...
