mofette | Partially Infested

I went to Infest on Saturday, thanks to

pitofdarkness having a spare ticket for sale, and

sarah_orange having room in a taxi! We met up at Sarah's house and got two taxis over, we got more lost than the people that didn't know where we were going!

Oh and the Manville had run out of food. What the fuck? Surely they know there will be loads of hungover Goths going there Sat/Sun. Eedjts.

When I got there I was a bit overwhelmed - I don't like enclosed places full of Goths with little or no ventilation but surprisingly, it wasn't smelly!

I talked to many many people but I was very happy to see

ninjagirl straight away, as it'd been far too long since I had seen her! I also met

smoke_rising for the first time, which was nice as we didn't know each other online but you know when you meet someone and it's just nice and everything clicks and she FORCED me to buy a pink leopard belt, I swear!

Later on I was chatting to Alex and his friend Andy, when I said "hahaha, that girl looks just like my friend Zara, she's GORGEOUS." "Naah, it can't be her, what would she be doing in Bradford?" "It must be her, I'll go say hi the worst I can get is a 'No, I'm not Zara'" and when I got within 4 meters she screamed "MOF!" so it WAS indeed

despina and so we went off and bounced to And One with me using my usual tactics of "Ooh, there's a space, let's move forwards, oooh another space" to get us close to the open door of coolness but unfortunately next to some people who then put their bag on the floor where we were dancing and then said "That's my bag?!" rather incredulously when I danced near it. You put it down after I started dancing, you idiot. And One were ace and funny and didn't take themselves seriously!

Then I also got to finally meet

mr_eleganza who Zara had come down south with, which was lovely, and also gave me something to do with my wristband, as I was working Sunday and couldn't use it, however his missus could! Of course the minute I gave it away I needed a pee and had to borrow a band from Choo and go for a pee. Then we went home in a Bradford taxi which cost £28!

Ooh and just before this there was a

poggs who had managed to avoid me all night [good show!] who finally popped his head up and was all like "Mof!" and I was like "Poggs!".

I was relatively sober as I had work the next day and needed to do a line clean. You can't do that with a hangover! I put on an episode of The X Factor that I'd downloaded and snuggled down in bed with kittens. Bliss!
