'find users', 'by interest' is good. you can type in a username and see who gets the most matching interests as you.

it works best if you get rid of 'unrevealing' interests (like fun, music, dancing, sunshine, friends etc) coz obviously, two people into all those things could be completely different!

the other thing is mofette.livejournal.com\friendsfriends (stalk your friends' friends!)

and you now have mofette@livejournal.com as an email address
